Subject: Childcare nappies

I was amazed when our local nursery handed me a plastic bag containing my child's soiled nappies and said they could no longer afford to pay the council to dispose of them, have they gone mad - or has anyone else experienced this?

Elizabeth,
Firstly I am surprised that the nursery in question had not informed it's parents that they could no longer afford to pay the council to dispose of the nappies. Secondly, surely they could have given the parents the option of slightly increased fees to cover this extra cost?

My 18 month old daughter is such a pest when it comes to changing nappies, She just wont sit still for a moment. I have even had to stop using the changing table in case she wriggles off!
But the worst thing of all is that I can never put the nappy on staight which means her nappy always leeks with the first wee...
Any ideas?
