I was so shocked when my five year old son came home from school and told me he was afraid to go to school because another boy (who is also only five) was making his life hell. I realised that this was an unfortunate part of school life, but I didn't expect it in his first year!
To be honest I was in a dilemma as to how to handle the situation, as I didn't want to make things worse. But one day as I was waiting for him to come out of school and was talking to some other mothers, they all had the same story. Consequently we made a collective complaint and the headmaster (who is exellent) took charge of the situation and touch wood things have sorted themselves out.
Lets see what the future brings...
