I have a three year old daughter who seems to catch colds quite frequently. She gets about one cold a month. I would like to know, other than vitamin supplements, what can I do to boost her immune system? She does go to nursery where she is obviously exposed to germs, but I think that being sick once a month is a little excessive.

We have three children, a son who is six, a daughter of two and a baby boy of four months. My husband and I have been suffering from the usual colds and coughs during the winter but once these germs are in the house they just wont go! We are on a merry go round of trips to the Doctors with the children. I can't remember when there wasn't a bottle of antibiotics in the fridge as well as the regular phone calls from school and nursery saying "they have a temperature and seem very upset, I think you should collect them and maybe take them to the Doctor".
