Message: We have a new baby in the house and I just can't function when woken during the night. It is not for want of trying, but so far I have stubbed my toes so badly that the were bleeding and I even fell down stairs carrying a tray of tea and biscuits.

Message: Bill,
Sorry to hear that you are so accident prone during the night, maybe you should think of moving to a bungalow.

Message: We have a four bedroom house and are expecting our third child next month. We have got so used to having our in laws around to stay and help with the children and giving us a chance to sleep. However, as we will soon have lose our guest bedrooms, it looks like we are on our own...The in laws don't take kindly to camp beds, well they are in their 80's after all.

Message: My first son was an early waker and we regularly got a wake up call.A close friend suggested that we use a radio to come on when it is time for him to wake, but we found that a special light on a timer switch has worked for us. You have to gradually change the time of day that the light comes on from their natural wake up time to the time you think is acceptable (we chose 7 am). We then drummed it into him every night that we didn't want him coming into our room until the light was on. Eventually it worked.

Message: hi there,
I am childcare professional from past years. Most of the parents has the same problem of sleeping due to their babies. Then i have a simple advice to them that is they try to make their baby busy in day schedule with the help of toys and games , so that your baby become tired in day time and go to bad early in night. Due to this baby most probabily won't wake up in night.
Hope this will help you.
Dilip
